Master Planner

A Master Planner belongs to the group supply chain team and reports to the supply planning manager. You are working together with the master planner of the Ardooie and Koolskamp plant on the planning and reporting tasks. You share best practices with other master planners from the Ardo Group and try to strive for continuous improvement within the whole planning process. As Group Supply Chain department our goal is to deliver our customers on time & in full, according to predefined specifications and in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

You are responsible for the mid-to-long-term planning for multiple packing lines within the Ardo Network. 

  • You define and keep the appropriate stock levels to reach reliable market-leading service levels whilst achieving cost and working capital targets. 
  • You are in close contact with the customer service, quality, and purchasing teams to maximize product availability.
  • You define and maintain the MRP parameters (e.g., safety stock, MTO/MTS, minimum order run…)
  • You independently handle issues with minimal supervision.
  • You provide a transparent and coherent view of the plan, shared between all actors and stakeholders, respecting the defined timelines.
  • You are based in the headquarters of Ardooie and open for travel in the Ardo group.

The main KPI’s where a master planner is responsible:

  • Service level (OTIF)
  • Inventory level
  • Slow-moving and obsolete stock levels (SLOB)
  • Capacity utilization of the packing lines.
  • You are passionate above all other talents.
  • You have a master’s degree with a strong interest in supply chain and/or a proven track record in planning functions.
  • You like to bring structure and look at topics from a helicopter view, but even so, dig up your analytical skills to dive into the details. 
  • You are a problem solver; you tackle challenges in an efficient way and thoughtfully.
  • Experience in S/4Hana SAP and AX Dynamich are a plus.
  • Language skills: fluent in local language and in English.
